As a supporter of Mauna Kea, I am asking for your support in helping me protect Mauna Kea by signing this petitition. This petition will join other petitions in the demand of the immediate halt to the construction of the TMT, 30 meter telescope on Mauna Kea. The TMT will cause harm to the Mauna (mountain) and destroy our Heiau (sacred land), a place where for Kanaka Maoli's spiritual and cultural practices.

Mauna Kea is ancestrally, culturally and spiritually sacred to Kanaka Maoli. The spiritual and physical health of the Mauna is a reflection of the spritual and physical health of her people.Being a Hawaiian, I can without a doubt say that I have felt the warnth and the energy from the Mauna.

Mauna Kea is significant to the world, to everyone and is connected to mountains and waters.

As an individual being so far from home, I will be supporting all the Kupunas, Kanaka Maoli and all the people of Hawai'i in any which way that I am able to. I will not stop until Mauna Kea has been free from the threat of being harmed.

This is not just about one mountain in Hawai'i. This is a global movement and the world is watching. Please join me in taking this stand to not only save the Mauna, but to save the future of not just my children but yours as well. The Mauna is for all and she holds within her the most beautiful and powering energy within her.
