I grew up in southern IL and have listened to KSHE since the early seventies. Their influence on rock and roll and early artists is undeniable.

Currently 49 yrs of Rock & Roll, and counting. It would be appropriate for the station to be inducted during their 50th year anniversary.

Hi, is this going anywhere? I see less than 10K signatures so far and this issue is already a month old, You need to get the word out STRONG to KSHE nation, as there must be close to a million listeners out there from 15 to 75 yrs of age. I grew up listening from the mid 70's to the mid 80's with other family members. I remember Ruth, Radio Rich, Al Hofer, Randy, Joe Mama and of course, the U Man. Didn't KSHE invent Memorial Day top 500s? This oversight by the HOF makes no sense. KSHE was one of the first stations in the country to play songs longer than 3 1/2 minutes and is noted for its devotion to classic album rock and roll. This is like forgetting the historical contributions of Lewis, Clark, Lindbergh, Armstrong and Aldrin, No, I am not kidding.

Hell yes, Hall of Fame. I was there when K-SHE fired up in '67. Still remember closing out my night with "Brother Can You Loan Me A Dime". K-SHE shaped a whole generation of "rock n rollers".

St. Louis would not be the same without kshe. If we forget this part of history, rock and roll is doomed.
