I am a 40-year-old woman, and I currently live in Kentucky. I was raised in St. Louis. As I was growing up I received my rock-music education from my father. He was the one who introduced me to KSHE when most little girls are playing with dolls. It was the dj's on KSHE that I would listen to late into the night and dream of being just like them. KSHE is where I learned about Black Sabbath, Pearl Jam, Aerosmith, and the Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar (so named by his St. Louis fans). KSHE is not just a radio station. It is a mainstay in a world of fly-by-night radio formats. It set the bar high for broadcast excellence, and maintains the bar year after year. KSHE is the oldest FM rock station west of the Mississippi river, and continues to be influential and relevant no matter how the genre of rock grows and changes. KSHE deserves recognition for what it means to the world's of rock music and radio. And though I left St. Louis in 2001 to start my own career in radio, KSHE is still the station I immediately turn to every time I return to the city that raised me.

Been listening to KSHE for 46 years. It shaped my ongoing taste in classic rock and roll music and I still listen daily. NO better choice to be honored in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I have been listening to KSHE since I was a kid. My older sister turned me on to KSHE. My sister has passed due to an accident but if she was here she would sign this also. Rock on!!

K-SHE is as much a part of St. Louis as the Arch. I remember in 1976 my brother getting me to say "K-SHE 95 real rock radio" I grew up listening to this station and if definitely deserves to be a part of the rock and roll hall of fame.
