You don't get to stick around for as long as KSHE has without doing something right. They absolutely deserve to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

KSHE Real Rock Radio

Let me tell you why KSHE deserves recognition in the HOF. When I was 12 or 13 we would go to Six Flags and there was this store called A Mod World. It sold rock and roll memorabilia, posters, incense, KSHE merchandise. It was kind of a hippie type place. Most of the time the shoppers in this store were late teens and early 20's. This would have been around 1975 or 76. I grew up listening to oldies and country music as did most of my friends, so going into the store was an adventure. Most of my friends were too nervous to go in but I was fascinated with this new world I had never seen. Older kids with long hair, hot looking girls, loud rock music blaring from the speakers, the smell of incense in the air. For me it was exciting, mysterious and a bit scary but I was drawn to it. It seemed dark and dangerous and maybe not quite right but it drew me in. I just remember the KSHE merchandise and KSHE blaring from the speakers. It literally transformed me and changed who I was. That's what KSHE means to me. And think of all the other rock and roll stations that have come and gone but there is still KSHE. How many stations have changed their formats but there was still KSHE. The station had literally helped launch careers of REO, Cheap Trick, Head East and others. When hardly any stations were playing Rush or Sammy Hagar there was KSHE. The station has been an integral part of the success of many acts and an integral part of my life. Here's to another 50 years of real rock radio

been listening since day one newly Married went o Central hardware and bought a new wave Am/Fm radio with speakers.

The best station , great DJ's , with a long history of providing great ROCK music to the airwaves. This station is deserving of being listed as a pioneer in Rock Music radio

Best rock station in America

This is THE rock n roll station that everyone should have the privilege of listening to!! I'm 54 and its been here my whole life!

KSHE is responsible for bringing rock n roll to life in the Midwest - actually everywhere. True rock icon that should be recognized as such!

Listened to K-SHE for many of my formative years (mid-70's). Some call it classic rock, I call it my music.

Please put KSHE in the RnR hall of fame !
