I lived in Dubai for 6 years. It was lovely at Christmas time ,Ede, Divawli and other religious days to see us all celebrate together. There was no offending each other . My son loved learning about other cultures. We are the ones that have caused this problem -- not other religions.

For years and years children have participated in Nativity Plays. Their role helps them and their audience to understand it's true meaning. that of Peace, love, acceptance and incluson. Therefore it makes no sense why some of your pupils are excluded from this.

Why should kids be turned away from Christmas plays especially given the lack of interest in faith these days to begin with. I guess people need it more as they get older not less... please keep the magic of Christmas alive.

All children, no matter what age at school should be involved in Christmas Nativity. It is essential for all children to understand the importance of The birth of Jesus which is why we celebrate Christmas. We now teach about all other religions, but understanding Christianity comes first. All children look forward to this, so please don't get rid of this time honoured tradition

All primary aged children should be taking part, especially in a faith school! All other primary schools manage to include everyone so why not this one?

They did this in my daughters school too, all the kids were so upset, as were the parents. The school christmas play and the nativity story is a big part of a child's Christmas...not up to the head to decide the children no longer need this part of christmas
