According to Zack Jansen with the Dallas ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms & Explosives) a resident within Saddlebrook subdivision, approximately 50 feet from Krum Early Education Center has applied to manufacture firearms and deal firearms from their residence. The homeowner will have the ability to do anything from manufacturing firearms from raw material to assembling firearms from parts. As well as sell the firearms just as a retail store from their residential property. The ATF has advised that they will be "powerless to do anything about things like neighbor complaints or increases in traffic." Please join us in petitioning the city of Krum to stand with homeowners against allowing this commercial business to operate from a residence. Allowing this license to be issued will disturb our neighborhood, detract from our property value as well as bring un-wanted foot traffic into our community.
