I am extremely saddened and appalled by this case knowing what my dog means and has done for me and my mental health and wellbeing. This is no different to if a human died on a plane. Their seat has been paid for, insurance paid, if air con was to breakdown on the plane the passengers would be given water at least and to receive adequate and basic care and service complying with standards and regulations. An investigation into the death would most definitely follow. I believe there is no difference in circumstance and as a being this must be investigated further and answers must provail and justice must be done for Kransky.

my deepest sympathy, I cant believe this happens, Im so sorry for your loss and im appalled the companies in question have not even apologised to you both. and have not even taken responsibility for their stupid inapt actions which caused the painful death of your beloved dog. Who really are a part of the family. Someone should make them sit up and be accountable.

I was Kransky's dog nanny. I have avoided reading this story for about 3 years and wish I had never found it. When I came to pick him up in Darlinghurst Rd he was so happy to get in my car for his stay at my house. I think Belinda & Jon were also happy that Kransky was loved while they were away.
I have been working in the airline industry for a very long time. I wish that Belinda would have contacted me re their trip overseas.

I am so sorry about your loss - i am also a dog owner and have travelled with my dog - in Europe you could take your pet into the cabin if the dog or cat did not weigh more than 6kg. Maybe we have to look into that so no other pet has to suffer again

This is the most distressing story I've heard. I wanted to look into traveling with my pet, but now I don't want to take the risk. If he died I wouldn't handle it. I can't imagine how upset these owners are. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE NOW! I'm signing this in the hopes something will be done so this NEVER happens again.
