I had the honor of meeting Jerry at the Warren WI Cranberry Fest a couple of years ago. After I had told him I was a teacher, he autographed a picture for me of himself carrying Vince Lombardi on his shoulders with Forrest Gregg after Super Bowl II, "You are the difference". Jerry made a big difference in football! He is one of the Great Football Players of all times and deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

After I had told him I was a teacher, he autographed a picture for me of himself carrying Vince Lombardi on his shoulders with Forrest Gregg after Super Bowl II, "You are the difference". Jerry made a big difference in football! He is one of the Great Football Players of all times and deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

Jerry Kramer not being in the Hall of Fame is a travesty. He was the best guard of his era; he was the key player on the most famous signature play in NFL history, the Packer Sweep; and he threw the most famous and important block in football history in the Ice Bowl. Without that block, it might be called the Landry Trophy instead of the Lombardi Trophy. He also kicked three field goals and an extra point in Green Bay's 16-7 Super Bowl win over the Giants. He was named the starting right guard on the NFL's all time Super Bowl team. He is the only member of the NFL's 50th anniversary team from 1970 who is not in the Hall. I had always assumed he was in the Hall. That he isn't is simply shocking. I can't take the NFL Hall of Fame seriously if Kramer isn't in it.

Having watched all the televised games of Green Bay Packers, it was easy to see he should of been included into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Listen to the comments of his fellow Packer All Stars. They are for real, from a time of honesty and performance. It is time to bring him into the Hall of Fame.
