Although I do not live in the area, We visit quite often and a good kosher meat restaurant would make it easier to visit since my wife and I are strictly kosher.

A kosher reaurant is vital for the continued growth of the Jewish population in lower Manhattan. The elderly population have come to depend on a kosher eating facility to maintain their kasharus standards as they reach their golden years and our neighborhood's younger generation needs an eatery where they can retain their tradition while enjoying the convienence.

People come from all over to the bagel store. If we get a Kosher restaurant with good supervision, we can have that as well for a good Kosher restaurant

The LES should have a Kosher Deli. There has been one there for as long as I can remember.
