The coming of Korg microX and X50 announced a revolution in terms of hardware/software integration : those synths were provided with software editors and VST versions, that allow perfect integration with the computer world. At the same time, the korg TR, was provided with no software, forcing the users to edit parameters on a small LCD screen. - Considering the fact that the Korg TR, one of the most affordable workstation to date, as the same sound engine than the X50 and the microX. - Considering the impaired functionnality of the korg TR compared to cheaper products. - Considering the fact that in the years to come, software integration, as well as consumer support will definitely the key factors for the future of hardware workstations. We ask Korg to provide the growing community of korg users with an editor/librarian as well as a VST instrument.
