Public schools are the key to providing all children with a good education. Improve them. Quit diverting public funds to charter schools and private schools.

Americans should be able to select from a variety of schools including public, private, religious, technical schools. Every child learns in a different direction and options should remain available. The government's involvement should be to hold standards of the expectations of education and goals for bettering the future of America. Assist in areas where success is not being met and giving rewards to those who grow.

These are our schools, these are our children. Together we can make them greater and stronger. We need our democratic, citizenship rights restored us and we need our schools open and locally elected leadership from our community. NOW!

ALL public schools should be created equal and afforded the same quality public education as the other schools in this district. Instaed of closing these schools and shipping these children to other schools why not invest that money in them and watch a higher return on our children and those communities!

Fewer than 7% of our schools remain in "academic distress." Restore local control today!

Public Schools are Best investments for Student Success! Charter Schools drain public schools of students and fail to provide results quantifiable through test scores or any other form of assessment!

I agree. Charter schools have not proven to be more successful, yet they drain resources from traditional publc schools.

I do agree. Public schools give opportunity to the ones that doesn't have the greatest as the others. It's more open to the community. Therefore, more people are given a chance for education....... yeah

Charter schools do not play on a level playing field with traditional public schools. And the "competition" does nothing to improve education across the board. I believe that wow there are opportunities for charter schools with in traditional public school districts to allow for greater flexibility, I do not see they serve the public well when they pull kids and families from traditional public school districts.
