This unelected board is making decisions not based on real data and is causing more harm to our community than covid ever could. This is not about health this is about power and control. They have shown that over and over by closing small stores but allowing big corporations to stay open. By setting a curfew, as if viruses can tell time. By any fave covering being compliant, like tool fabric or netting. They are also causing people to bully or discriminate against those who can not or will not comply (medical exempt, or differing beliefs, or have done their own research and chosen differently). This is still a free country after all right?

The Knox County Board of Health is out of control and are now attacking the citizens who oppose them with unsubstantiated allegations of being threatened by those who oppose them. They are unprofessional, juvenile bullies that need to be dissolved.

I work in healthcare and have to wear mask the whole time I’m there. It makes it hard for me to breathe and I have been physically abuse by chocking in my past. So It gives me anxiety which then makes it harder to breathe and then causes my anxiety to be worse. Panicking at times. But I wear it at work because I am forced to. I have dealt with depression my whole life. And all of this has made me hit rock bottom. I’m on medication and it’s still hard for me. Yet I should be exempt from it in Public I am ridiculed and reminded of masks often, not to mention the stares and rude faces. I understand we can not underestimate any virus. But the numbers on this one have proven itself. The vulnerable need to take precautions and stay state. But this should be a choice for the rest of us. And it’s not! Not to mention the permanent closures and early closures of business. I prefer the health board not make these decisions. They need to be dissolved.

This mandate is unconstitutional, it violates my right to choose my own health and safety. It builds severe anxiety in me to wear a mask as someone who suffers from severe claustrophobia and also migraine headaches which are exasperated by the lack of fresh air. There is no real scientific evidence behind all this and we the people are sick of it!!!

People stop being petty and simply WEAR a mask to help protect yourself and others so that the economy and schools can remain open! When cases skyrocket...things close and people die! ITS BASIC COMMON SENSE
