The board has ignored sound science and the actual numbers and demographics of its own collected data in favor of promoting panic and loss of jobs. According to their own statistics, over 80 percent of deaths have occurred in the 65 to 106 year range. (if a 106 yr old person dies, it is not from Covid 19). The recommendations are harmful to both businesses in Knox county and individuals. Issue guidelines, not mandates. Treat people like adults and get over yourselves.
