I am grateful for the expertise and wisdom of the members of the Knox County Board of Health. I am especially cognizant of the political pressure that this body receives. The health of Knox County is not a political question. Thank you for relying on science and data and doing your best to stay out of the politics. Thank you for your service to our community.

Please follow Medical/Scientific advice for protecting ourself and others or we will remain mired in this virus for a long time and mortality and morbidity will continue to be a heartbreaking issue.

Listen to the scientists you bunch of animals

I work in public service and do NOT want to be put at risk by people in the position of power who know nothing about science. Please let the Board of Health continue protecting us from Covid 19.

Please be sensible with our health and safety. I have to at risk disabled people My household.

The Board of Health needs to stay as the deciding factor on COVID restrictions. The Knox County Commission does not have medical experience so changing to them makes this a political decision. We do not need the change!

Unbelievable that we would not rely on the public health officials and experts on issues regarding public health. Come on County Commission. You can do better than this.

As a high risk person, I am appalled at how many people are unwilling to take the minimum measures necessary to protect me. I very much appreciate having a non-political body of professionals making decisions about this based on science. I live in the 9th Commission District.
