Leave the decisions to scientists and medical experts. A pandemic is not the time to reduce the power of the board of health.

I strongly support the mitigation measures put in place by the Board of Health. Their authority derives from state statute and should not be overruled or compromised by County Commission.

The Board of Health is doing a great job in looking at research, local trends, and advice from outside agencies when making decisions.
It's a shame that the anti-science movement has taken hold enough that personal anecdotes and opinions outweigh scientific research and evidence for many, and that members of our county government would pander to that crowd instead of working together to ensure the safety of all citizens of Knox Co.
