Keep up the good work - there are more people who support you than the very loud complainers

As a voter and a citizen, I put my faith in doctors and science.

We are grateful for all you're doing to try and limit the spread of coronavirus. Your strength in the face of resistance is appreciated!

Let the people who’ve devoted their lives to understanding biology and healthcare make decisions regarding public health policy and the rest of the policy makers who only understand public health from the patient perspective stay in their lane please!

I support those on our health board. Those with medical backgrounds.

Thank you for volunteering your time, and using science-based decision making, in your ongoing efforts to keep this county as safe as possible during a worldwide pandemic.

I have family and loved ones that have compromised immune systems, please keep the mask mandate for their safety and others like them.

There is no such thing as an honest politician.

We need you.

If the mask mandate ends now, at a time when cases are increasing again & flu season is about to start, I will not feel safe just getting take out or going into small businesses, which would decrease money in the local economy. I'll just get my groceries delivered and order from Amazon more.

Please do not change the powers of the Knox County Health Board during a pandemic.

It is so important in times like these to have a board of experts who are willing to follow the science when making decisions that could save untold numbers of lives. Thank you, Knox County Board of Health, for the work you are doing to protect us.

If the mask mandate is not in existence, I will no longer feel safe to go out and spend money in local restaurants and other businesses. Keep the mask mandate in place and let those who have dedicated their lives to health related issues determine safety measures. I have no trust in my government, locally or nationally, in doing what is best for the people.

The health of our community is too important to leave in the hands of the state. It deals with local people and should be decided locally.

I am a high risk mother with high risk children and I am appalled that the city would be okay with blatantly putting lives at risk

I support the Knox Co Board of Health and anyone who follows the same quide lines by Dr. Fauci and notable experts at CDC and WHO. We really should be doing same things NYC and European countries have done to mitigate this virus in TN. We in fact are not doing nearly enough still to lower the rates of infection and death. Unless people feel safe I don’t care how many businesses want to open, I’m not going out and risk my life for anything much less shopping or eating. And some business owners continue to show that they don’t support my right to stay safe. Those will be the ones I will forever boycott. And the politicians who continue to support unsafe environment and anti masking with never get my vote. A lot of this community has shown where they stand so good luck in future! My money and support go to those who care about others. Thank you for this petition!

I support our Board of Health professionals and want you to continue to keep us safe without interference from politics and business. Stay Strong and I thank you.

Mayor Jacobs needs to be an adult and listen to the medical and science professionals. His political ambitions are secondary to the health and welfare of his constituents.
