Knox Countians Support Knox County Board Of Health

I think it is important for the Knox County Board of Health to retain the authority to guide the Knox County public through this ever changing pandemic. Healthcare policy needs to remain in the scientific community, not in the hands of our political officials.

Please hold strong.

The KCBOH is critical to protecting the health of our community. Their knowledge and expertise keep us safe. We should be making decisions based on sound scientific evidence, not on whether or not you can buy/sell alcohol after 11 pm.

I support Knox County Board of Health!

We do not want Governor Lee nor the Knox County Commission making health care decisions for us. We trust the medical professionals and science!

I trust the Knox County Health Dept so much more than Glenn Jacobs or the Coubty Commission, especially when it comes to the health of citizens!

I truly appreciate all that you do to keep up safe during this pandemic.

The politicians do not have educational background to make healthcare policy decisions.

The board of health is there to protect us. It's made up of our neighbors and Friends. They are volunteering to help us stay safe and healthy!

I do support the decisions of the Knox county Board of Health. They are following the current science and are trying to keep us all safe. Keep politics out of their work!

We need to keep hearing truth from them; we continue to need their guidance and we need them to establish the protocols we need to begin to control this virus in Knox County.

It is illegal for a non-physicians to prescribe medication to an individual, as the non-physician's prescription or lack thereof could hurt the individual and the non-physician has not been trained, does not know enough, and does not have the requisite experience to make such a judgment. By extension, it is therefore similarly wrong to allow a politician to "prescribe" public health policy, as they too are not informed, experience, or trained properly to make a judgement without risking the public health.

The Knox County Board of Health is serving the community with integrity, knowledge and experience. The decisions it has handed down are made with the utmost concern for the health and economic well-being of the community as a whole, free of political bias.

Thank you Knox County Board of Health for staying strong in the face of the intense criticism you've recently received and for keeping our community safe and healthy.
