I highly support actual medical professionals to help keep a close eye on an ever changing GLOBAL pandemic respective to our county. I'd be in favor of taking Mayor Jacobs off the BOH.

I am appalled at the Knox County Mayor and Commission. Our Knox County Board of Health is trying to protect the citizens of this county. We are in a dangerous pandemic and we have to heed the warnings of the experts.

The BOH is doing and admirable job to keep our community safe. This group of volunteers deserve the support and respect of all City of Knoxville and Knox County residents. In particular, the BOH deserves cooperation and professional natives from elected officials instead of behind the scenes videos and bullying.

I support the board of health. I do, however, believe Mayor Jacobs’ actions have created a toxicity that requires his removal from this board. Leaving public health matters to politicians without the medical credentials suited to the task of fighting this highly contagious virus will have disastrous results for the economy, schools, and citizens of Knoxville.

I appreciate these health experts and their unbiased service. Do not replace them with people who will only serve looking to be elected. That is not unbiased evidence based heath care.
