I believe Mr. Humperdinck deserves this honor more than any other human being I can think of. First and foremost, he is extremely proud of his British heritage. He talks about it with tremendous enthusiasm. He has a great respect for the Royal Family, especially the Queen, and the wonderful traditions of his beloved England. He is unbelievably talented, charitable, has an enormous heart and has brought an abundance of happiness to people throughout the world with his magnificent voice and kind heart. He has an amazing musical career that has lasted more than half a century. If not now, then when? He will be 85 years old on May 2, 2021. I think being knighted on that day, and being given the title Sir before his name, would be an unforgettable birthday gift!!!!!

Engelbert has met each and every criteria for the Knighthood in abundance. In fact, his not getting one throws doubt on the very rules governing the system and worthiness of some of the less worthy recipients. This wrong needs to be righted and quickly. Don’t let it become another Peter O Toole, Claude Reins and Richard Burton tale of unfairness, tragedy and public honours system farce.
