Petition Summary and Background: The Kennedy Middle School administration refuses to allow parents to take close-up pictures during the school graduation ceremonies. Even when asked to establish a small area on the side that will not disturb the audience, the administration insists that the pictures and videos be purchased from the professional photographer. In this day and age of instant communication using smart devices we cannot wait to share these moments with friends and family. In addition some families cannot afford the cost of professional photographer. Petition Action: We the undersigned petition to the Cupertino Union School District to allow parents a place closer to the main stage (by the side) where parents can station momentarily and take pictures of their graduating children
