Appalling proposal to remove the name of a patriot who gave her life from this war memorial. Those who are proposing the removal should hang their heads in shame.

It is disgusting that the names of many women who died in War service during WW1 ad WW2 weren't added when the memorials were created. The objector doesn't have to look at the memorial if it upsets her. Keep Kitty on there.

It seems like petty arrogance is at play. There is no reason her name should be taken off. This girl joined the war effort at 17 and died at 19!! Where are your hearts. If your decision is that it must come off then let it stay until a new memorial can be built. God bless her.

Unbelievable and disrespectful to even consider removing Kitty's name from the memorial. Would ask that further serious consideration is given to this. Lest we forget.

We will remember them - Kitty's name must be honoured for the sacrifice she made. Shame on those who think otherwise.

This must have been sanctioned at some point by someone. Leave well alone as there appears to be no dispute as to who this person was and now remembered.
