Kirklees Bereavement Price Hike

Unhappy. Unfair on the poor. State has a duty of care for all its citizens.

I belive this is not viable option for most people

Please 're consider the burial plot prices

This is very unfair to whole community.the price increase is not acceptable. Please consider who can not afford it. Thanks

No compassion make money of people's loved ones

I believe that the proposed increase is unjust and unfair. Council should look to make profit out of people living then dead.

the rise in price for a burial is outrageous, people may not even be able to afford to bury the people they love after losing them. This will cause even more stress upon those in the hard times. It is also morally wrong as there is no need for such high prices.

I am against this new policy

I dont know who thinks of these schemes but it a professional way of extorting money from people at a very difficult time.It is hard enough for people to deal with the death of a love one but then have to pay unjustified amount of money to have them buried.Times are very hard for poor and vulnerable people and whoever in Kirklees council think of these extortionate schemes are very unsensitive and dont have a drop of humanity in them.The idea is disgusting and the people who think of these things are the same as well.

Not happy with this at all! As if its not dear enough to bury a loved one in Kirklees as things are at the moment. I will be looking in to how my councillors vote on this matter and will use my vote accordingy at next council elections.

It's terrible news having to pay so much Just to burry our loved ones

Such a hike is burden to the family already mourning!
