The price hike is absolutely ridiculous and will affect the community and the bereaved hard. Also, doing this at very short notice with prior consultation is shocking.

Absolutely shocked with the council proposals,, the increase in prices means instead of being able to mourn and grieve for the loss of ther loved ones, families will have to worry about payments arrangements. The council must have some some compassion in their hearts. Please think very carefully about these proposals.

Absolutely imoral not a lot of thought process has gone into this. No consideration as to what people are going through especially with this tory government who are hitting families with all the cut backs which is affecting the families with low incomes. Imagine a family who has to face these price hikes at a time of austerity. Where has the humanity gone.

This price just for burial is outrageous. How can they charge so much just to bury a deceased? What would happen if the family are poor? Or have difficulties paying...this is taking advantage and isn't right. You should be making the situation easy for people. Very sad
