Which idiot cameup with the out of hours idea. People are forfilling there loved 1s last rights. Not checking them into a hotel.

I think it is disgusting how the council have calculated these new charges with no justification whatsodver.
Kirklees has a high unemployment rate with stress on families finances at high levels.
This 'death tax' for 'customers' will only make things worse. I STRONGLY oppose this and would insist my elected councillors do everything in their powers to stop it.

I oppose the increase on burial payments, should be kept as they are.. (current charge is 10% of average earnings)..

Disappointed that kirklees council are to increase burial fees. No permanent jobs people on zero contracts and not earning enough. Not enough income to feed for themselves or their families have to access food banks. How are families going to afford to pay such an amount proposed by the council. Let's not hit the poor or the working class who earn just enough to have a descent living
