Kirklees Bereavement Price Hike

Please reconsider your charges for burial Also improve the services you have the dead should be given the same respect as the living

This is not fair at all and out rages!

The pricing is extortionate! If the pricing it like this now n in next five years.. what is it going to be like in 10-20 years time!!

I think this price is ridiculous we're already paying to live now we have to pay a huge price to live. Today's economy people with families are already struggling

The new proposed price is a big jump from the the current price. Not everyone can afford these sort of prices.

I am against the proposed increases and do not feel this is necessary.

This price increase will be the most unjustified thing ever done by Kirklees. When some ones loved one die. In normal world community comforts the ones left behind not rip them off so badly that they left behind to pay huge sums of money instead of recovering mentally from the tragedy

Don't increase the cost

Complete disgrace when a loved one dies last thing you want to do is have to worry about nearly £4000 to bury them.

The council need to consult before making such huge price increases .

Such an extortionate price hike and that too without consultation....this requires a proper review and consultation at every stage of the process. As if losing a loved one isn't traumatic enough. Added pressure and stress of the burial costs is not required.

Unhappy with increase cost of bereavement

This price is completely wrong the price should be around £1100 per person

This is ridiculous, at a time where the council should be looking at their own way of functioning to reduce costs they are inflating the prices of a service that is so desperately needed at and already difficult and tremulous time.
