Regardless of the issue, when a constituency is asked to vote on an issue (and they do), lawmakers need to respect the outcome.

The people have spoken, keep the HCC.

We need the Houghton Community Council to represent our unique interests. Please respect the vote/voice of the people!

Thanks for initiating this petition. Amy Walen just lost my support as represntative of the 48th district. Too bad that the former mayor of Kirkland is trying to do this. I believe Larry Springer tried to do the same thing in the Washington Legislation, fortunately UNSUCCESSFULLY!

A 70% vote in favor of the HCC speaks loudly. The HCC needs to stay.

Our votes matter! I am in favor of HCC and glad they vetoed allowing 9 units on a single family lot!

The HCC has served us well over the years. We need to keep it.

I voted for proposition 1 to maintain the HCC which gives the HCC some oversight in property development in our community and KCC is trying to take away. Proposition 1 passed by 76%.

Please honor the overwhelming results of a free and fair election and do not eliminate the existence of the Houghton Community Council!

I am so disappointed. I hope at Mondays meeting you will be transparent and let all of us know why you are going so hard to remove the HCC.
