Currently have Virgin in Quedgeley. Moving to Kingsway, still in Quedgeley, but no Virgin Media service.

We live in a digital era, connected homes, 4G/5G technology.
The kingsway development has taken me 10 years back in technology advancement.
Gloucester council shouldn't allow planning permission, if the builder is not doing cable work FTTP.

An upgrade of Hardwicke Exchange Cabinet no 34 to fibre is required due to extremely poor (<2MB) standard broadband line speeds.

It amazes me that fiber wasn’t even a consideration when planning or building the kingsway development especially as kingsway has a high population of business owners who rely on a fast reliable connection.

Surely Virgin should have been on this from the start... Seems kind of stupid trying to win customers from BT when you could have had the customers when they first moved in.

faster speeds are a must nowadays, with me wife and 4 kids all using it the current BT 38MBs is just not good enough

This is a brand new site for hundreds of houses.
It amazes me that fiber was not a consideration when planning or building so many houses
