Our campaign is about improving road safety on the Kings Heath High Street. One young girl, Hope Fenell who died last november crossing the High Street, she was crushed by a HGV. It caused a lot of trouble and there was lots of emotions shown. Our campaign hopes to enforce a 20mph speed limit across the Kings Heath High Street. This will stop deaths and anyone hit by a car going 20mph has a 97% chance of surviving, compared to 50% chance of survival when hit by a car goin 30mph.
