Construction of twenty-two new townhomes, Kings Glen Townhomes, located on Kings Glen Park in the Wyndham Downs neighborhood has begun. Kings Glen Townhomes are not in the Wyndham Downs HOA. The only entry/exit for these townhomes is Kings Glen Park which is the only entry/exit for current Wyndham Downs residents in the Abbington Hill area. Kings Glen Park is a small, dead end street. This petition will be used to ask the Lexington Planning Commission to conduct a traffic study on Kings Glen Park to determine if the builder of Kings Glen Townhomes should construct another entry/exit for the townhomes due to the increase in traffic.

This street is certainly not big enough to handle that much more traffic. I have lived on Kings Glen Park for seventeen years and I am thinking of moving because of the traffic this will create.

Why funnel traffic thru our small neighborhood when you could just build and entrance/exit off Man-O-War. Please preserve our children's safety.

We do not need the extra traffic. We will never be able to back out of our drives. This is going to create a bad situation.

I have great concern regarding the traffic situation at Kings Glen Townhomes. It was a very narrow and short deadend, and now it has become a potential grave traffic hazard. With winter snow and ice coming, I worry how it's going to be in the future. Every time when I make a turn at the Abbington Hill and Kings Glen intersection, I have fear of potential hazard. The townhomes need to create its own entry/exit via Man 'o War. Based on my observation on Man 'o War, it shouldn't be difficult for the builder to construct its entry/exit to from/to Man o' War. The entry from Kings Glen to the townhoms should be sealed, so Kings Glen can remains as a dead end street. The public housing at Wilson Downing did the same thing. They created its own entry/exit without disturbing the pre-existing community over wilson downing.
