Only between the times of 5am to 10am is it ever peaceful and a decent environment for people who require as little noise as possible to work. Especially as the silent study areas are overcrowded at times

Library is ridiculously hot and busy all of the time. Even in the early hours of the morning. It is impossible for security staff to keep check on 800+ people. There are also no computers available.

I would like eric wood and the greenhouse to be open 24/7 as well as kimberlin, as a third year student approaching exams the level of noise is very distracting even in the silent study areas of kimberlin due to the high amount of students.

Doesn't help that some people have turned the library into a social centre but the library gets so rammed I darent go in there to do work. I will just check the books out I need and leave and go home to do my work.

Never any macs available when I need to use one as I'm a photography student. It's got to the point now where I'm going to the library at 3am to do work to guarantee a mac

I think with the amount of students and the varying deadlines around April/May time means that many more people need a place to study but Kimberlin usually is busy through the day and night and sometimes there's no where to go. I think we need more study areas (especially ones that can be accessed 24 hours a day).

I've been going to the library through out first years and second year and I've never known it this busy! I dont even bother to check if there is space now because its a waste of time.
