so sad that the brief period in history when the "car was king" seems to have blinded people to the mounting disaster of our ecological collapse, much of which is caused by the oil and gas industry -- that fuels cars, among other things.

Jackson park is such an important space: for current residents, to attract future residents and to promote Peterborough as a hub for green tourism.

Peterborough is known for its great green space. It's hard to believe that Jackson Park would be defaced. Such short sightedness. Surely we want to reduce the carbon print not increase.
