Linux mainline is the best place for driver code. Once code is accepted upstream, we don't need to worry about it breaking as Linux moves forward. We want SoC vendors and device makers to stop supplying "BSP" and get their drivers integrated and accepted into the upstream kernel. If the driver code is not good enough for mainline, it's not good enough for us.

The feedback from developers has been loud and clear. Vendors are still ignoring the benefits of upstreaming. We are keeping the pressure on.

Sick of dealing with outdated vendors kernels that never get updated. Just push it to mainline so the rest of us can actually use our hardware without jumping through hoops.

Yes!! stop making us use these garbage hacked together kernels. it is 2018 not 2005.
