I love interactive learning with target specific areas, so you know what you will need to know and excel in your job. People should be learning what they need to know for future jobs, and also what they want to know. Learning through primary school and high school should be enough basic learning for the other parts of your job. Go LEARNING!

Honestly I think college is a waste of time, college is supposed to help your chances to get a better job when you graduate but what if you get that job without going to school? Exactly

I completely agree. I took core classes that related nothing to my bachelor of science degree.

For us older people seeking education. We do not have time for Unnecessary classes. It will be much of a convenience if we could really just start our education without all of these core classes.

I agree., I fill like the first two years are extended high school. I fill like more time, energy and money goes more into core curriculum than your major

In my opinion this "core requirement"' law is only for financial gain for the state but a loss in time & money for the student. I'd definitely return to school to obtain a degree if this law was demolished.

I agree. Why waste the time and money on subjects that were covered in high school? College curriculum should be determined by the career/field of study one wants to pursue. I hope this is something the state of Georgia will one day change.

Totally agree 100 %, colleges shouldn't make students waste their time and money taking classes that they don't need to take! Great petition! I really do hope that someday there is a change.

I agree. My first 2 yrs of college, felt like extended high school. I felt like more time, energy and money went more into core curriculum than my major.

Eliminating core classes will give students a better understanding of the careers they want to pursue. I hope that the state of Georgia really takes this into consideration

i agree. It is good knowledge but if courses not needed for major, why have the student spend the money and be in debt because of it.
