This is a drive to elect Dr. George Klay Kieh, Professor of Political Science, as the Commencement speaker for Grand Valley State University's December 2006 ceremonies. Aside from being a professor and a mentor to many students, Professor Kieh took a leave to run for President of Liberia. He is also one of the nation's foremost speaker on African countries, conflict, and development struggles. Professor Kieh has a unique story to tell and he should be the commencement speaker in December 2006. He is engaging, strong, and humorous and will do anything to help students. Please help this worthy cause.

Dr. Kieh is literally the best professor I ever had at GVSU. He actually keeps you awake and makes politics interesting. Would love to hear him speak at grad!
