This is a part of Action Research Taken up by Educational Technology Wing of State Institute of Education, Kashmir where it was found that Kid Personal safety Education shall empower children to take part in their own protection by giving them age-appropriate information, skills, and self-esteem. Kids personal Safety builds the self-esteem of each child to empower them to practice assertiveness skills for their own protection. So there is a great need to introduce Kids Personal Safety Education in associated/embedded school curriculum and teacher training institutes for training of teachers and developing counsellors and assigning same to each school. Its a way to bring safety to schools of Jammu and Kashmir.

The level of engagement this proposal has generated confirms a widespread recognition of the need for formal safety education in our schools. This momentum suggests that our communities are prepared to prioritize the protection and empowerment of young students.

This is a very novel initiative that needs to be supported at every level as it is something that is related to us whether we ars parents, teachers or councillors etc. It is very encouraging that the initiative is getting a shape and we all need to be agents to make it happen to provide good environs to our kids in schools and outside.
This was a much needed initiative. It makes me so glad that this is finally taking shape. We all must feel proud of this achievement. Bringing such things to light was the need of the hour and more was to educate children about them. Kudos!
Personal Safety teaches children that their body belongs only to them and nobody has the right to touch them in a way they don't like or understand
Kids personal safety is most important domain now adays , and in Kashmir it is need of the hour and we should support it. #kidspersonalsafety
Need of hour to save our children from different abuses (Sexual, social ,gender etc)
