Kids Being Led Into Terrorist Groups Online

2016. We are in the year 2016. Every day you hear about new and important news that is happening. If you are lucky enough, you have a internet source. On the internet there are many amazing things such as games, books, magazines, social apps, and many more. But there are a ton of untrustful things online. Some of those things can be what people say. Audio recordings, texts, and videos. There are many videos of ISIS trying to persuade people into going to ISIS and fighting for them. A father turned his own son in because he was afraid that he was going to join ISIS. He was planning on leaving for Syria and joining with ISIS. Three high school girls left England to join ISIS. This isn’t the first time this has happened. A woman left her country and married a ISIS fighter.

I believe that if we started a program in school were kids from grade 6-12 talking to them about how people online can lead them to join ISIS. Anyone can watch the videos but, if we were to teach kids about avoiding them we could not have anymore kids go to Syria.

If we don't implement this then who knows how many kids are to get influenced by online videos that want kids to join ISIS and go to Syria to fight for them. ISIS right now is targeting mostly the Muslim community and they might start to turn to everyone. I believe that if we implement this into school, kids won’t
