I have worked at Kids Inc for 4 years and the only thing that could possibly make it better is being able to offer the program to children and young teenagers all year round. I strongly support this minor variance.

Kids Inc camp has been an amazing place to work this summer! It is so well organized and such a safe and fun place for kids of all ages to come and develop new skills, create long lasting friendships, and lifetime memories! A year round program would give these kids more opportunities to grow and learn!

I have spent my whole childhood at kids inc camp both as a camper and a staff member. And I thank the camp for being one of the most memorials experiences in my life. The one thing I remember is sitting in my chair listening to the teacher talk wondering what I would be doing right now if I was at camp. I continue to find myself even as an adult now in situations where I ask myself this same question.
To have the camp area assessable for more than a summer would be a dream come true for me. I am hoping that the new owners bring the same amount of care and love as the the previous owners have in the land. By allowing the land to be used for more than the summer months can allow others (adults, children, and the community) to feel more connected with one another. I am sure after the past two years we are all feeling a need in community. I believe that kids inc camp can help.
