KiddiChef.com is child and family focused company. We aim to provide parents, nurseries and schools with an easy and exciting way to give their children fresh and nutritious meals; along with food education, that will create a active healthy lifestyle and generation.

Currently in the UK, we have the highest rate of obesity in Europe, with 1-in-3 children either overweight or obese by the age of 9.

• FACT: The UK has the highest rate of childhood obesity in Europe.
• FACT: One-quarter of children are overweight or obese at the age of four. By the age of 11 this will rise to one-third.
• FACT: 96% of UK children do not eat the recommended five portions of fruit and veg a day.
• FACT: Parents could soon outlive their own children as a result of diet-related illnesses.
• FACT: 1-in-10 children starting primary school in Britain is now regarded as alarmingly overweight.

We beleive if lifestyle and eating habits don't change, then half of the UK population will be obese by 2030 and we will have a generation suffering with heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure.

Thus, our petition is to prevent this statistic becoming a reality by keeping children excited and interested in their food, and to provide the local community an alternative option for a take-away service, rather than the over publised unhealthy fast food chains.
