Kidderminster needs its hospital back. They treated my younger brother when he was young. Brilliant treatment we need this back

I think the hospital needs to be fully functional again with all previous services in operation especially maternity and a better A+E because last year while 7 months pregnant with a very sick baby I fell down the stairs and really hurt myself. I did get seen by a lovely nurse I can't remember her name but It was late at night and I was told there was no xrays at that time and that I should go to another hospital for xray or come back the next day. The nurse then injected my toe and reset it.

So sad to see this once wonderful hospital so underused! Bring back our hospital!!

People have to travel to far! I had my baby at home because i wouldnt of made it to worcs!

Especially as Kidderminster Hospital covers a greater area than just Kidderminster

Will help co ngestion at Worcester I have been on trolley in corridor overnight and its very frightening no bell no one around all staff to busy this has happened to me twice

I don't see why people in the wyre forest area should have to go to worcester when not everyone has transport to sit and wait as worcester as they have not got enough staff (understaffed). Theres a nice and big hospital at kidderminster which is a great hospital, its close for people in the wyre forest area. I know a couple of people who have died on there way to worcester hospital as they haven't been able to have the treatment ghey need there and then.

I know that Kidderminster hospital could not accommodate all hospital services but some would help as Worcester is such a long way and costly to get there and park

When the Kidderminster hospital was downgraded and the new Worcester hospital was proposed, most sane people could see that Worcester Royal would not be able to cope. Sadly this has proved to be the case. My aunt suffered a stroke last year and was taken by ambulance to Worcester A & E. She was put in a cubicle and checked regularly but was stuck there for 6 hours waiting for a bed. Follow up care was good but as she has mobility problems, I had to have my husband with me so that he could drive around in circles trying to find a parking space whilst I looked after my aunt! She suffered a fall this year and broke her wrist. We spent 4 hours in Kidderminster minor injuries then had to take her to Worcester for a brain scan as she had suffered a head injury. That took another 4 hours and the scan wasn't done as Kidderminster hadn't let Worcester know so there wasn't a technician available! It was only because we insisted that she was kept in overnight and even then the scan was not done!
