I had to travel from Kidderminster to Worcester in an ambulance and it took far too long!

It should never of been closed Worcester can't cope plus unless you are living in Worcester or near it why should you have to travel when your not well plus if you don't drive public transport is terrible so visiting someone in Worcester if you don't drive is hard unless you have someone that can take you.

Worcester is to far to travel when your injured or ill. And they're over stretched, making waiting times ridiculous.

My nearest A&E is over 1 hour away, Kidderminster is 30 minutes or less. We are talking about lives, it needs sorting.

I had a rumbling appendix I was taken to A&E in Redditch in agony, it was over an hour before anyone saw me.

I WAS RUSHED INTO A AND E WORCESTER IN MARCH WITH BRONCHIAL PNOMONIA AND I CAUGHT NORA VIRUS AND WAS IN ICU FOR 9-11 DAYS INSTEAD Of 7 BECAUSE OF STAFF STORAGE AND EASTER HOLIDAYS , THE AMBULANCE CREW CAME FROM DUDLEY THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHERE Worcester HOSPITAL WAS BECAUSE MY HUSBAND STEVE Reinlo AND MY ELDERLY MOTHER MRS MARGARET SMITH FROM DROITWHITCH GOT THERE BEFORE ME, AS MY OXYGEN LEVEL WAS 48 PERCENT ID WAS RUSHED INTO ICU FOR 11 DAYS AND THAN ONTO LAUREL 2 THE BEST WARD EVER ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS NOT ENOUGH STAFF ON TO CATER FOR MY NEEDS AS A SERVER DISABLED PERSON MY HUSBAND AND MY MUM WAS COMING OVER 3 OR 4 TIMES A DAY TO FEED ME TOILET ME FROM KIDDERMINSTER TO DROITWHITCH TO WORCESTER AND VICE VERSA. MY DOCTORS DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I WAS STILL AT Worcester ROYAL UNTIL TUESDAY AFTER EASTER BECAUSE MY DOCTORS NOTES DIDN'T ARRIVED UNTIL A WEEK LATER., NOW I'm ON OXYGEN AT NIGHT FOR ANOTHER 12 -14 MONTHS MORE, I'D ONLY LIVE AROUND THER CORNER FROM Kidderminster HOSPITAL .

There are a lot of elderly or pregnant people as well as sick people around Kidderminster. It can be very difficult as well as expensive for all these people to travel to Worcester or Redditch all of the time. Kidderminster needs reopening fully. Please.
