There is a real need for these services and Worcs. Hospital is just too far away especially if you need to attend regularly or visit! I speak from personal experience.

my partner does not drive so if I was ill she has no one who could bring her to visit we could not afford taxi or bus fares for those distances

there are over 100k residents in Wyre Forest alone plus surrounding areas needing full hospital services more locally

Worcester hospital is so overwhelmed by sheer numbers, it makes sense to increase capacity at Kidderminster hospital.

It is desperately important that we get A & E services back to kidderminster. Neither Worcester or the Alexander can cope with the numbers they are expected to and long delays on trollies in corridors is not acceptable. Someone is going to die.

I have had several ops at the hospital over the years and cant fault the way I was treated ,not like @worcester they injected pain killer under the skin insted of a vain and when the time came for me to leave they had no record of me being there they r rubbish

This is a matter of life and death people die just getting to hospital in this day and age and with the enormous amount of taxes we pay its a basic right of every person in this area. We damand this is reinstated we have suffered long enough !

I was among the many who marched in protest against closure of the maternity services and said then that it would be just a matter of time before the rest followed suit and I was right. Kidderminster hospital was a great place and with Worcester and redditch struggling with the work load it's common sense to reinstate ALL services back there, it's a great hospital and can be used again. Bring it back to life and take the pressure off the over worked and under paid staff at the other two hospitals.

Had 2 ops here but also had to go to Worcester for appointments if they can do the op why do I have to go to Worcester for an appointment?

I'm a local father and really want the A&E facility re-instated at Kidderminster. I know many parents who have had to travel the A449 with their children, myself included to access the not local A&E, and this is a shame when we have a perfectly useable and good hospital down the road. More lives could be saved if people could access A&E quicker (locally) and surely the NHS is about preserving life?!.... A no brainer to me.
