Apart from the fact Worcester and Redditch are too far to travel in an emergency, the surrounding hospitals are subject to so much pressure and demand from their local population, that covering the patients of Wyre Forest is not a practical or viable option.

Recently accompanied my Mother to an appointment for a specialist Cardio scan at Worcester where it took 30 minutes to park due to overcrowding, no parking machines worked... We live in Kidderminster this this caused a lot of frustration..

With the increase in housing being built within the Kidderminster area it is unrealistic to expect the already over stretched hospitals at Worcester and Redditch to cope.

Kidderminster and its surrounding area is growing rapidly and needs a fully functioning A & E Dept at the very least. This would also reduce pressure on Worcester Hospital which, as we all know, was not big enough when it was first built, let alone now!!

The nearest A&E to Kidderminster currently is Worcester, that's some 15 miles away. I know of many stories where people have died en route to Worcester, therefore, Kidderminster absolutely requires an A&E at the very minimum.

Why should Kidderminster have to suffer the closure of these vital services on our doorstep when housing development is booming which will in itself put more pressure on the Worcester hospital in the long term and longer appointment lists. I have recently attended a NIGHT appointment and been told I need another treatment soon which I have asked to be carried out at Kidderminster 10 minutes away from my home and family l

The minor injuries and out of hours works really well, but having to go all the way to Worcester Hospital is ridiculous. Come on people, help support this valued cause. We need Kidderminster to re-open the A&E Department

More lives could be saved if A & E were nearer for the Kidderminster/Bewdley/Stourport residents. So sad lives have been lost due to the closure

Live in Bewdley and very frustrating there is an existing hospital so close without major facilities.
