Our mission is to replace Andrew Jackson, a creator of racial genocide, with Chief Sequoia, a Cherokee leader who created a widely used written language that revolutionized Cherokee life. Andrew Jackson, who is wrongfully glorified on the twenty dollar bill, oversaw the murder of Native Americans, and does not deserve his immortalized position on our currency. The aboriginal members of this country endured oppression and genocide, and not only deserve, but require further representation as being part of this nation's history.
