Participating in school sports/clubs is a privilege, not a right. He does not deserve to be a representation of the school any longer. Actions have consequences.

There needs to be accountability. The school certainly should act swiftly on this. The Georgia High School Association (sports authority for high schools in Georgia) must step in if the school does not. This is an assault motivated by discrimination against a protected category, and should be treated as a hate crime.

This happened at my school. The kid with the pride flag is so sweet and I hate that I was unable to help him. We need to do everything to get Andrew kicked off the football team.
