This was clearly an assault and an hate crime. The student does not deserve to wear a football jersey that represents all students in the school after this.

Without consequences for his injurious and untenable behavior, this young man will feel rewarded for being a bad neighbor and his violence will escalate. Send him to anger management instead of Football.

This is absolutely disgusting and a slap on the wrist for an assault on a student is not nearly enough. Andrew Hunter needs to not just get kicked off the football team, but expelled from school. No tolerance for hate.

Assault on a fellow student as it relates to a title VII protection should equate to expulsion and revoking the privilege of all school activities.
