On behalf of KGO listeners who miss Gene Burns, Gil Gross, Len Tillem, Joanie Greggains, Ray Taliaferro and John Rothmann - we seriously question the abrupt change to "all news" format in place of these talented radio personalities. As you are well aware, we have plenty of outlets where we can listen to "all news" but what kept us coming back to KGO Radio was the fact we could call in and voice our opinions. Now the call in time is cut short and "all news" leaves the airwaves stale and repetitive. We want Gene Burns, Gil Gross, Len Tillem, Joanie Greggains, Ray Taliaferro and John Rothmann to be hired back on and to have a true newstalk platform.

Bring back my wife Jan Wahl back on the air Ineed the money and she a job. Not making enough with my kars for Kids ads.
BRING BACK LEN TILLEM. My weekends are so empty now. I stopped turning on the radio entirely.
KGO isnt KGO without the talk shows. cant stand the new format at all. change it back
Miss listening to Gene Burns on my commute. The new format is just constant loops of the same headlines. Bring back the real hosts!
Ronn Owens was the heartbeat of the station. Why would you ruin a good thing?

We were abruptly severed, as loyal listeners for years, from KGO810AM NewsTalk Radio, and we want it back. KGO did a great service for the Bay Area. It was a sad day on 10/6/22 @ 10:08AM when Mark Thompson signed off without explanation.
