If you havent heard already, Kevin Rudd has been described as a 'serial killer' on an American CNBC network. Last week, Kevin Rudd's Labour government announced it is setting aside $19 million to slaughter camels in outback Australia. The money will be put towards culling the animals by Air strike, one of the most inhumane methods. Why shoot the animals from a helicopter when most would not be killed, but wounded and left to suffer a slow death Why waste $1 billion of meat Once shot, if killed, the meat would be left there to fester and smell. What happens to the camels calfs When their mother is shot, are they left to starve or be picked off by predators If the camels are such a problem to the Australian environment, then why not farm them Or at very least use the $19 Million for a bounty on Camels. That way they would be killed humanely and their meat would not be wasted. But instead they will be culled in the most inhumane way.
