For a town the size of Keswick the facilities for locals are poor

This is so needed! The combined factors of winter weather conditions and limited indoor training facilities are extremely detrimental to sports activities in Keswick. The availability of a 3G pitch in town would help facilitate outdoor exercise during bad weather and reduce the need to travel to other towns.

I fully support the move to improve sports facilities in the town of Keswick. After the all weather pitch
hoe about a proper swimming pool?

I shall be moving to Keswick soon, and I agree that this will be an asset to the community.

I grew up around Penrith and have benefitted hugely from access to artificial pitches to participate in sports from a junior into adulthood. There is no reason those living in the Keswick area shouldn’t have the same access, simple as that.

Long overdue. About time Allerdale put some into Keswick instead of just taking it

keswick is putting the most money in to allerdale by way of highest cost of housing reflected on council tax, car parking
maybe the council could put council tax on holiday homes or put business rates on them to help pay for this.
none locals making 500 to 1000 pound or more a week and paying same council tax as ahouse next door. alot making more than local shops who have to pay business rates
just my thoughts

Keswick has such a strong and successful sports culture despite limited facilities- every effort should be made to make this happen and I give my full support.
