Kenya consumers need answers from DSTV on high subscription costs

Dstv rates are too high

I am opposed to the extortion that DSTV conducts on its clients. I just received a text that from October 2015 , I'll pay kshs 9,200 for my premium subscription ostensibly due to inflation. Their program content hasn't improved at all and yet their costs keep increasing.

It is a waste of time paying for movies which are repeated on a weekly basis. Therefore, DSTV needs to shape up or quit the game and ship out.

DSTV you are now stealing from us

The fact that DSTV is so cheap in other companies is disturbing. It is known that those companies have also suffered from severe currency devaluation.

I honestly don't understand the increase due to depreciation of the shilling. What economics is at play here? Supposing the shilling appreciates by the said date. 1st Oct?

The subscription fees are too high and we request for their reduction. Monthly payments are becoming a burden to us the consumers

This year there is more rubbish showing on DSTV than ever. All the programmes are repeats of old shows or low budget American silly sitcoms.
