The increase in rates for DSTV is a big rip off! We should just boycott and not pay the next subs until they are reviewed downwards. Can't we all make that sacrifice?

It's been long overdue! Even most of their promotions do not include Kenyans. Kenyans needs to totally boycott and move to live streaming but investing in good Internet connection.

Previously i was on dstv compact, i used to pay kshs.2800 (round figure).
This was increased to kshs.3,500 and i requested for a downgrade to family plus package (or something like that).
I have been paying kshs.1800.
Now this has been increased again to kshs.2150.
I only watch local channels and my kids love disney junior.
Am not interested in Africa magic movie channels and even if i was they are already in the local channels anyway.
I feel dstv is exploiting kenyans and for that reason,
AM OUT!!!!!!!

i migrated to Bein Sports a year ago and its pretty good. 15 HD sports channel for an annual fee of only Kshs 15,000

Indeed the prices are way too high. Further, Comedy Central constantly repeats progs (if not old 1990s reruns).

Even if others change their mind, for me I wont renew mine. This is a big joke. How come we pay almost twice the amount subscribers pay South Africa for similar packages. Have they joined our MPs in milking us dry? Never!
